I recently travelled to Regina to install my work, Soft Spectacle, in a storefront window along Scarth St. This event's theme is Walking – Bodies in Urban Space. Artists were asked to consider the "meditative and physiological impacts of the act of walking; the relationship between walking and thinking within an urban space; references to body within the language of architecture and the urban landscape; the subversive potential of bodies in public spaces; the social hierarchies of the urban landscape."

Guided walking tours have led audiences through the downtown core to visit installations featuring interactive gaming designs, plaster jackrabbits and reflective snowmounds. To find out more, and to take part in a virtual audio tour, you can visit the PopUp Downtown walking tour app.
The artist gratefully acknowledges the assistance of the BC Arts Council.
